ELLIOT OSBORNE and Luther James-Wildin struck either side of Inih Offiong’s missed penalty for Stevenage — before Luke Prosser headed home to make it three.

BARROW manager David Dunn said his players ‘will get better’ after this loss. Liam Shephard and Ryan Taylor scored for the hosts, either side of Lewis Hardcastle’s goal for Barrow.

BOLTON boss Ian Evatt was pleased despite their defeat. ‘There was a big improvemen­t,’ he insisted. Goals from Tom Eastman and Jevani Brown sealed Colchester’s win.

MARK BONNER called his Cambridge side ‘ruthless’ after a five-star display saw them move top of the table. Wes Hoolahan, a Jake Turner own goal, Adam May, and Paul Mullin’s brace sealed the win.

Tom Nichols marked his home debut in style in a scrappy encounter. Head coach John Yems felt his side deserved the win. ‘We stuck at it,’ he said.

TOM CONLON scored one and made one for Devante Rodney to give Vale a win at St James Park. John Askey praised Conlon. ‘He works really hard,’ the Vale boss said.

A LATE equaliser by Ruel Sotiriou earned Orient a point. Mansfield went in front with goals from Jordan Bowery and Andy Cook. Orient reduced the deficit through Danny Johnson ahead of Sotiriou’s goal.

CARL WINCHESTER (who missed a penalty) and Aaron Collins scored for Rovers, with Lee Novak and Elliott Watt netting for Bradford, who had Anthony and Paudie O’Connor sent off.

GRIMSBY 0 SALFORD 4

SALFORD manager Graham Alexander was ‘delighted’ with hat-trick hero Ian Henderson, who netted two penalties. Ritchie Towell also scored from the spot in injury time.
