Manager Michael Duff said: ‘We talked about it last week and the week before, but we need to be more clinical with the amount of chances we are creating.’ Orient boss Jobi McAnuff said: ‘They are a very difficult team to break down.’

TRANMERE boss Keith Hill felt his side blew a great chance at Scunthorpe. Kaiyne Woolery and Alister Crawford were guilty of some wasteful finishing for Rovers. ‘We have to focus on the football and not keep looking at the table and the next game,’ Hill said. ‘We have to deal with the here and now.’

EOIN DOYLE’S 77th-minute goal fired Ian Evatt’s Bolton back into the automatic promotion places. ‘It’s been a crazy day and a crazy game but we won,’ Evatt said. Gethin Jones put through his own net for Bolton, before Lloyd Isgrove levelled matters and Doyle had the final word.

PORT VALE overcame a lengthy snow delay to seal victory against promotion hopefuls Morecambe. Vale boss Darrell Clarke said: ‘The effort and commitment were outstandin­g.’ Nathan Smith hit the only goal.

GOALS from Rory Holden and skipper James Clarke gave Brian Dutton his first win in charge of Walsall. ‘I’m absolutely delighted,’ the interim boss said. ‘I couldn’t even look my dog in the eye.’ Jordan Moore-Taylor pulled one back for Rovers.

OFFRANDE Zanzala’s late penalty secured a point for Carlisle in a dramatic Cumbrian derby. Jack Armer also scored for the visitors, while Scott Quigley and Patrick Brough netted for Rob Kelly’s Barrow.
