Man arrested over £750 vaccine passports
POLICE have arrested a man following a Mail on Sunday investigation into the sale of official NHS vaccine passports to jab refuseniks.
NHS England alerted the police following our revelations last week – that ‘medical records were being altered for a fee of £750’ – and Hampshire officers arrested Jordan Goodall, 23, in Oakley, near Basingstoke.
It is understood that police seized Goodall’s computer before he was released on bail.
News of Goodall’s arrest comes as Wales and Scotland introduce vaccine passports for large venues, and care homes in England enforce mandatory Covid vaccinations for staff from November 11.
A Hampshire Police spokesman said: ‘Officers are investigating after allegations published in The Mail on Sunday newspaper claimed that counterfeit Covid passports were being produced in the Basingstoke area. A 23-year-old man, from Oakley, has been arrested in connection with the incident.
‘He was arrested on suspicion of acquiring, using or possessing criminal property; fraud by false representation; making or supplying an article for use in fraud and possessing or controlling an article for use in fraud. He has been released on police bail and our inquiries are ongoing.’
It was claimed yesterday that celebrities are paying for fake Covid passports so they can appear on TV shows.
According to The Sun, four reality TV stars and a musician have bought the passes to meet vaccination requirements demanded by programme producers on channels including E4 and MTV.
‘Many TV series are now requiring stars to have double jabs,’ the newspaper quoted a source as saying.
‘Those who don’t want the vaccination are paying for them instead. It’s becoming rife.’
There is no suggestion of a link to the scam exposed by The Mail on Sunday.
