LEADERS Forest Green were pegged back by Oldham in a thriller. The visitors built up a 4-1 lead when they cancelled out Davis Keillor-Dunn’s opener, via Jack Aitchison, Jamille Matt (two) and Mathew Stevens. Hallam Hope, Keillor-Dunn and Jack Stobbs netted for the hosts, before Stevens scored again. Kane Wilson put into his own net for Oldham.

JON BRADY admitted that the performanc­e levels of his players are even catching him by surprise. Fraser Horsfall and Jon Guthrie both netted for Northampto­n either side of Jack Diamond’s goal.

EXETER 0 TRANMERE 1

MICKY MELLON could not hide his delight after watching Tranmere seal a hard-earned win. Elliott Nevitt scored the only goal to give Tranmere the win, who had Callum McManaman sent off late on. Mellon said: ‘We got a valuable three points.’

NEWPORT 2 PORT VALE 1

JAMES ROWBERRY praised his Newport team’s fighting spirit. Dom Telford and Finn Azaz were both on target for Newport to cancel out Ben Garrity’s opener. He said: ‘I’m over the moon.’

BARROW 2 SWINDON 0

SWINDON boss Ben Garner was left ‘frustrated’ with the decisions after two penalties saw his side lose. Spot-kicks from Ollie Banks and Josh Gordon secured Barrow a first league win in 10. Garner said: ‘The game’s been decided by bad calls.’

BRADFORD 2 SUTTON 2

LEE ANGOL scored late on as Bradford came from behind. The away side went ahead via Robert Milsom’s penalty, which saw Niall Canavan see red. Theo Robinson struck, before Ali Smith’s effort.

BRISTOL ROVERS 4 ROCHDALE 2

AARON COLLINS netted twice as Bristol Rovers won an entertaini­ng contest. Antony Evans and Harry Anderson were also on target for the hosts as they rendered Jake Beesley’s brace, one a penalty, a mere consolatio­n.

STEVENAGE 0 CARLISLE 2

KEITH MILLEN loved that his plan came together for Carlisle. Goals from Jon Mellish and Jordan Gibson did the damage. Millen said: ‘The plan worked perfectly

because it wasn’t ideal conditions.’

LEYTON ORIENT 1 CRAWLEY 2

JOHN YEMS heaped praise on his depleted Crawley. ‘I’ve been accused of moaning about all the injuries, but those players today were a credit.’ George Francomb and Kwesi Appiah netted, with Glenn Morris scoring an own-goal for Leyton Orient.

KEITH HILL feels he can see the improvemen­t in his Scunthorpe. He said: ‘I see change and a real identity stating to form.’ Away sub Dan Gallimore wasted their best chance as he blazed over late on.

Matt Taylor hailed Walsall’s win over Colchester as a ‘complete performanc­e’. Otis Khan scored two and set up another for Jack Earing as Walsall cruised to three points. Taylor said: ‘There is still so much to come from this group of players.’

MANSFIELD 2 SALFORD 1

NIGEL CLOUGH had high praise for his in-form Mansfield. Matty Lund put Salford ahead, before Rhys Oates and Stephen McLaughlin scored. Clough said: ‘It was an outstandin­g result.’
