ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI will have a medical in Miami today ahead of signing a threeyear contract with Barcelona. The prolific 33-year-old striker said farewell to his Bayern Munich team-mates yesterday after the Bundesliga champions agreed in principle to sell for £42.5million. Bayern president Herbert Hainer said: ‘Robert is an incredible player and he won everything with us. We are incredibly grateful to him.’

EVERTON defender Jarrad Branthwaite has joined PSV Eindhoven on a season-long loan. Everton remain in discussions over revised bids for Burnley’s Maxwel Cornet and Morgan Gibbs-White at Wolves. They have also asked about Chelsea’s Tino Anjorin as an alternative. Abdoulaye Doucoure wants to sign a new Everton contract and talks are ongoing.

MANCHESTER CITY defender Oleksander Zinchenko is joining Arsenal for around £35million after more positive talks between the parties yesterday.

Personal terms are not expected to be a problem for the Ukraine international who will become Arsenal’s fifth summer signing and their second from City following the £45m arrival of Gabriel Jesus. His departure will accelerate City’s bid for Brighton defender Marc Cucurella.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said: ‘We’re still hoping to improve the team and make a few more changes.’

City midfielder Lewis Fiorini has joined Blackpool on a seasonlong loan. The Championship side have also made a £200,000 offer for Shamrock Rovers full-back Andy Lyons.

Tottenham are set to confirm the signing of Djed Spence from Middlesbrough for £12.5m, rising to £20m with bonuses.

MANCHESTER UNITED will pay £46million plus a further £8.5m in bonuses for Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez. The 24-year-old was in Manchester yesterday completing his medical ahead of signing his five-year contract. United have decided that the Argentine will remain in Manchester to train rather than travel to Australia for the rest of their tour. Ajax have made a £19m offer plus add-ons for Rangers defender Calvin Bassey who was left out of their squad to face Blackpool in a pre-season friendly on Saturday. Brighton have also made a £16m offer for the centre-back.

BOURNEMOUTH and Nottingham Forest have made £10million bids for Middlesbrough winger Marcus Tavernier. The Premier League rivals are waiting on Boro to give an answer over the 23-year-old’s future with Tavernier keen to move. He made 48 appearances for Boro last season.

WEST HAM are awaiting a response from Lille after offering £32.5million for midfielder Amadou Onana. They have also made a £30m offer for Chelsea striker Armando Broja and have a £33m bid on the table for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca.

LEEDS UNITED want over £35million to sell winger Jack Harrison amid interest from Newcastle. Harrison, 25, is admired by Eddie Howe for his work rate. Leeds value Harrison highly though and will not sell easily. They are continuing their own discussions for a new forward with Paris St Germain’s Arnaud Kalimuendo their prime target. Newcastle are also in the market for a striker, having missed out on PSGbound Hugo Ekitike. They have asked about Bordeaux forward Sekou Mara, 19, and are also keen on Aston Villa’s Carney Chukwuemeka, 18.
