Minister defends Tory donor accused of making ‘racist’ comment about Diane Abbott If Hester’s comment was not racist then I don’t know what is. Allan Dickson

Hardly a day goes by without some new revelation about just how racist and misogynistic the Tory party is now. It is no surprise when some of their number find themselves at home in the fringe parties of the evil far right. We look at Europe and despair at the number of far-right parties growing into government when we in the UK have been under this yoke for 14 years.

Scots could have some of the ‘cheapest electricity in Europe’, says top energy CEO

Anyone who expects the British government to do anything to help Scotland, especially as it appears to be to the detriment of south-east England, is naive to say the least. It will never be accepted by English MPs in Westminster.

Independence is the only way forward but many of our fellow Scots still can’t see it. Are we really too stupid to ever become independent?

Keir Starmer will NOT face Commons investigation over Lindsay Hoyle allegations Disgraceful decision. Further proof that Westminster isn’t fit for purpose.

This is just the Westminster establishment circling the wagons and merely exposes the depth of their amoral corruption in that place, and typically hidden by dissembling subterfuge – just like the Tories and their “we see no racism or ethnic cleansing”. I don’t accept their “unanimous” duplicity. If they did as they should, my goodness, where would it end? With accountability?

As far as I’m concerned, Starmer and his cohort are guilty of egregious manipulation of democracy and parliamentary convention, such as it is, in cahoots with the Speaker. In the end we voters are voting fodder, where we either accept what’s offered or be disenfranchised by political oligarchies. It’s like the US coal and steel barons and their company stores – feed at our price, or starve. It’s a tactic that the Westminster establishment has used since time immemorial by, strictly speaking, bought people. (“If I keep my nose clean, there might be a gong in it for me”).

Their whole system is corrupt – from our most noble monarch and his palace doctoring photos for effect; to Westminster cabal opposition manipulations of conventions – which, like “democracy”, can be tuned to suit; government ministers who seem to have difficulty in accepting racism by their own definitions. Justification of these, and innumerable other examples, must stem from a psyche laced with psychological corrosion. “Just move on”.
