Carrie Fisher: A Life In Ten Pictures (BBC2, 9pm)

WHILE Carrie Fisher will always be known as the woman who played Princess Leia in Star Wars, she was much more than just an actress who happened to have her hair styled into a bagel bun and wore a gold bikini. Fisher, who died in December 2016, is the subject in the first of a new run of A Life in Ten Pictures, and we follow her life from her childhood in

California, through to her film debut in 1975 comedy Shampoo, her big break in George Lucas’s space saga, and appearances in The Blues Brothers, The ‘Burbs and When Harry Met Sally.

The Apprentice (BBC1, 9pm)

IT’S week eight already, and as he continues to slowly whittle down the candidates, Lord Sugar challenges the two teams to brand an electric vehicle and create an advertising campaign before pitching to a panel of experts. Karren Brady and Tim Campbell watch on as one of the sides loses its way by driving their advert into comic chaos. Meanwhile, the other’s confusing advert receives a red light for its poor location and boring storyline.

Shed And Buried: Classic Cars (Quest, 9pm)

HENRY Cole and Fuzz Townshend team up with Allen Millyard and Guy Willison for this new eight-part series. Henry and Fuzz will be doing what they do best – rummaging around in the nation’s sheds, barns and outbuildings, this time to (hopefully) find a tidy profit in some vintage motors. But that’s only half the battle – once their finds are back in the shed, restorer extraordinaire Guy and engineering genius Allen will be put to the test, turning the rusty wrecks into right royal runners.
