THIRD-PLACED Flackwell Heath squandered a golden opportunity to close the gap at the top of the table.
They suffered a 3-0 home defeat to 11th-placed Binfield at Wilks Park thanks to Luke Haydon’s hat-trick.
So Flackwell Heath remain five points adrift of non-playing leaders Thatcham Town, who have played two games more than their title rivals.
This followed the postponement of Thatcham’s eagerly-awaited scheduled Waterside Park top of the table home clash against second-placed Thame United due to a lack of power.
Thame are four points behind the leaders and have five games in hand.
Hosts Tuffley Rovers stay in sixth thanks to their 2-0 triumph against second-from-bottom Henley Town at Glevum Park, with Shayne Bradley’s double proving decisive.
Longlevens AFC drew 2-2 at Ascot United following a couples of braces.
Samir Regragui scored twice for the hosts, while the visitors were indebted to Dave Merrick’s double, including an 85th-minute penalty equaliser.
Ardley United thrashed lowly visitors Highmoor Ibis 6-3.
Matt Cruse bagged a hat-trick, while Jack Heap, Leam Howards and Chris Jackson also netted for the rampant hosts. Ibis’ goals came from Yashwa Romeo, Liam Gavin and Rhys York.
