NEW SAINTS BREAK NEW RECORD IN FINE STYLE

Cefn Druids eased their relegation concerns by beating fellow strugglers Newtown 1-0 with Adam Hesp’s 89th-minute strike

Newtown are second from bottom, two behind Aberystwyt­h Town, who slumped to a third straight league defeat, at home to Bala Town.

Caldicot Town beat Cwmbran Celtic 4-3, Goytre United beat Ton Pentre 5-0, Monmouth Town overcame Port Talbot Town 1-0. beat Athletic Taffs CareauWell Ely Undy 3-1. and Barry Town United drew 1-1. In Division Two, Llanelli’s 2-0 win over Croesyceil­og put them four points clear after secondplac­ed Porth drew 1-1 with Cwmamman United. Careau went to the top of Division Three with their 2-0 win over Trethomas Bluebirds. Prestatyn Town remain six points clear in the Huws Gray Alliance with a 2-0 win at home to Flint Town United. Secondplac­ed Caernarfon Town saw off Mold Alexandra 2-1 and are five points up on Guilsfield, who beat Buckley Town 2-0. Ruthin Town are still bottom after a 6-0 thumping at Conwy Borough. Alan Bull’s late winner gave Denbigh Town a 3-2 win at Caersws. Porthmadog also left it late to draw 1-1 with Penrhyncoc­h. Gresford Athletic did likewise in beating Holyhead

Hotspur 2-1, Jack Chaloner netting from the spot deep into stoppage time.
