Hamlet’s slog

AT this time of year you hear of so many Football League clubs complaining of the pressure of fixture pile-up – well, try being in Dulwich Hamlet’s shoes.

Hamlet have nine Ryman League games to fit in before the season ends on April 22, having played three games last week, on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

I don’t understand why the Ryman League season can’t be extended to match finishing dates of other leagues.
