FAVERSHAM triumphed in a typical end-of-season game where neither team had anything to play for.

The wind ruined the game as a spectacle but Faversham took advantage, scoring the first goal on seven minutes as Matthew Bourne volleyed in.

East Grinstead never really got to grips with the conditions and fell further behind when a cross was spilled and Liam King had an easy finish.

And the game was over on 46 minutes when a long free-kick left King free again to score.
