SHAW’S HEADER RESCUES A POINT

- By Emily Anderson

BRIGHOUSE 3 TADCASTER 3

BRIGHOUSE came back from 3-1 down at the break to salvage a point.

The game burst into life after three minutes when Greg Anderson put Tadcaster ahead, but a minute later Michael Fish levelled.

Albion then went 2-1 up through Conor Sellars after a Rob Youhill cross.

Taddy were having a good share of the play and in the 30th minute Carl Stewart hit a super shot which was turned onto the crossbar.

However, nine minutes later Albion’s Tom Corner beat Sam Hewitt and the advancing keeper to put his side 3-1 ahead.

Three minutes after the break, Town pulled a goal back through Tom Haigh and, with two minutes left, Adam Shaw glanced in a Tom Dugdale cross.
