Tobi buoyed by big moves
TOBI SHO-SILVA says the sheer volume of Non-League players securing incredible moves this season has given him the strength to bounce back.
The Bromley striker has been earning rave reviews in recent weeks and in the club’s last two home games he has scored four times.
The 22-year-old arrived at Hayes Lane following a heartbreaking release from childhood club Charlton Athletic in the summer.
He’s so passionate about climbing back up the ladder that he has set his own pre preseason schedule – and has roped his brother in to help!

Neil Smith is getting the best out of the livewire striker and says he has got the talent to “achieve whatever he wants to” in the game.
Sho-Silva said: “It was difficult being told I wasn’t being kept on, but I didn’t have any problems coming to Bromley because I knew they would give me a chance to play. It’s all I want to do.
“Life’s not too bad at the moment! I’m on a good run and I feel like I’m playing well. When it shines it shines.
“For me it’s all about working hard. I’m 22, so it’s getting a bit serious now. I’ve been trying to find the right team to play for and I really think I have found it.
“It was tough to take being released by Charlton, but for me I only want to play somewhere that I’m getting matches and I have developed my game a lot more since I signed.
“I think after you pass 21 it’s men’s football now. There’s no fear about dropping down because it’s about playing and there have been a lot of players who have been picked up this season and in the last few years. I think it gives every player a bit of hope.”
But what is hope without application? Sho-Silva knows dedication to the job is vital if he wants to become a Football League player one day.
“I’ve decided to not really stop this summer, I’ll carry on,” he said. “I’ll take two or three weeks off in May, but before the end of the month I’ll be back at it.
“The season is stopping when I don’t want it to stop! It’s got to be done. I’ll miss football so I’m planning on working very hard. I’m going to be working with my brother, he knows how to get the best out of me with my running so that will be good for me.”
