After half-time, Cole fired over after a mistake and, for the hosts, Oliyide lost control at just the wrong time after rounding Leiston keeper Ashlee Jones.

With 15 minutes left, Blake spurned a great opportunity after McDonald had been sold short by an intercepted back pass from Ricky Gabriel.

But Town equalised, on 85 minutes, when one sub Samir Bihmoutine crossed for another, Bobby Devyne, who volleyed home from close range.
