COGDON IS STILL A MARINER

-

GAVIN COGDON has given FA Vase winners South Shields a huge boost in their debut Evo-Stik North season. The 34-year-old former Grimsby Town and Spennymoor Town striker, who scored 30 goals in 37 games to help the Mariners claim an unprecedented quadruple last season, has signed a new two-year deal with the Mariners. He becomes the latest key member of Graham Fenton’s squad to commit their future to the club, following Julio Arca, Jon Shaw and keeper Liam Connell.
