THURLOW Nunn newboys Spixworth have changed their name. The promoted Anglian Combinatio­n Premier Division champions will from now on be known as Norwich CBS. The change in identity came after the club moved to Bowthorpe. A club statement said: “After months of meetings and several emails being sent to and from the county FA we are pleased to announce that we have decided to change the club’s name. “This is mainly down to our relocation and promotion was a huge pro in taken the steps to change our name. “We felt as a club we were not very marketable being named after a village to which we play 20 minutes and eight miles away from.”
