RAMPANT Plymouth Parkway have leapfrogge­d local rivals Plymouth Argyle Reserves at the summit of the Premier Division table.

Parkway beat St Austell 5-1 to take a lead of two points, with a game in hand on the Pilgrims, who suffered a shock 4-3 defeat at Cullompton Rangers.

Third-placed Saltash United thrashed Exmouth Town 7-0.

In Saturday’s South West Peninsula League Cup tie, Premier Division Launceston were stretched to the limit by previously-unbeaten Division One East side Brixham before prevailing 21 after extra time.

Liam Prynn and Sam Davey scored for the Clarets, with Reece Somers replying for the visitors.

BLABY & WHETSTONE leapfrogge­d Kimberley Miners at the top of the table on the back of an 8-3 demolition of Arnold Town.

Leon Doughty began and ended the scoring with braces from Ross Lavin and Charley Morton, plus single strikes from Adam Parry and Kai Tonge.

Kimberley Miners were held 1-1 at home by Graham Street and drop to third after Aylestone’s 6-2 win at Anstey.

Meanwhile Dunkirk thrashed bottom club Radcliffe 8-2, with their goals including a Tim Berridge hat-trick.

Harry Austin scored four goals as Stapenhill beat Barrow 6-1, while Teversal came from behind to defeat Holwell 3-1 with Dave Cockerill grabbing two.

Lee Sutton scored twice for Selston as they drew 3-3 with Borrowash Victoria, who saw Idris Kabongo score and get sent off.

Ryan Smith scored two for Radford in a 3-0 win at West Bridgford.

Ryan Plummer and Dwayne Brown earned Gedling a victory at Belper.

Holbrook won 2-1 at Birstall and Clifton beat Ashby 4-1.

WOLVES SPORTING COMMUNITY have gone clear at the top after reeling off their seventh straight success, 4-0 over AFC Bridgnorth.

Rion Francis-Mills and Dimitri Dunkley put Wolves Sporting in command by half time before second half substitute­s Ethan Delaney and John Letford sealed the points.

Malvern Town lost their 100 per cent after being held 2-2 by Black Country Rangers.

Shaqui McDonald put Rangers in front before goals from Shaun Smith and Matt Fusco gave Malvern the lead, but McDonald levelled matters again with five minutes remaining.

Cradley Town remain third after clinching a close fought 2-1 success at Smethwick Rangers.

Goals from Josh McKenzie and Croatian striker Dreniz Bala put Cradley in control, before Colin Smith cut the deficit and hit the woodwork late on.

Pegasus Juniors picked up their first point in nine games, coming from 2-0 down to draw with Bilston Town.

Wellington Amateurs are still seeking their first win after they were walloped 7-2 by promoted Wednesfiel­d, with Scott Sandland leading their scoring spree with four goals.
