MARK DAVISON’S 82nd-minute header secured a 2-1 victory for league leaders Morpeth Town at Team Northumbri­a.

Sean Taylor broke the deadlock in the 75th minute, but the home side levelled through Josh Bynoe.

Craig Gott scored twice, a penalty and a 93rd minute volley as Marske United beat Ryhope CW 2-0.

Shildon beat Washington 2-1 while Sunderland RCA overcame Ashington by the same score. Michael Chilton saw red on 87 minutes for the Colliers. Dylan Elliott netted the winner for RCA.

Jake Orrell grabbed a debut goal and assist with Joe Hailes and Paul Brayson also on target as Newcastle Benfield beat Dunston UTS 3-0.

Nathan Fisher made it 22 for the campaign as West Auckland fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at North Shields.

Penrith lost a two-goal advantage as Consett picked up a 3-2 win in Cumbria with Josh Gray netting the winner with a 25-yard screamer.

Guisboroug­h Town beat Jarrow Roofing 4-2 with all four goals coming in the second-half while Bishop Auckland beat Stockton 3-1.

Thomas Scott's second-half penalty was saved by Billingham Synthonia's James Dawson as the league's bottom club held Seaham Red Star to a goalless draw. PAUL REECE

NORTH WEST COUNTIES

RUNCORN TOWN extended their lead with an impressive 4-1 win at Barnton while their second-placed neighbours Runcorn Linnets could only draw 1-1 with Barnoldswi­ck.

A solitary goal on the hour from Ashley Young gave Charnock Richard an important win over Irlam to keep the pressure up on the league leaders.

AFC Liverpool’s poor form continued as they were beaten 4-3 at Winsford United.

Padiham and Widnes shared six goals in an entertaini­ng draw while at the Anchor Ground there were seven goals as Hanley convincing­ly beat hone side AFC Darwen 5-2, Dan Cope with a first half double.

Both Northwich sides had a good day on the road as Victoria won 2-1 at Abbey Hey while 1874 Northwich dented Bootle’s promotion hopes with the only goal of the game at The TDP Solicitors Stadium.

Burscough are still without a league win as City of Liverpool came away from Victoria Park with a 2-1 success, Karl Noon with the winner five minutes from time.

Recently resurgent Squires Gate kept their momentum going with a hard fought 3-1 win over Congleton Town and Maine Road’s woes continued as Ashton Athletic put in a solid performanc­e running out 3-0 winners.

NORTHERN COUNTIES EAST

PICKERING TOWN stay top despite conceding a 93rd-minute equaliser in a 1-1 home draw with Hall Road Rangers. Danny Gray scrambled home an effort on 46 minutes but Christophe­r Spinks levelled.

Second-placed Pontefract Collieries let slip an early lead in a 2-1 home defeat to fellow high-fliers Handsworth Parramore.

Jack Greenhough put the hosts in front after four minutes but Aaron Moxam’s double either side of the break turned the tables.

Maltby Main are third after beating Harrogate Railway Athletic 3-0, while AFC Mansfield thumped Staveley Miners Welfare 4-0.

Alec Denton’s strike five minutes from time handed Worksop Town a 21 victory over Parkgate with Nathan Modest and Ross Goodwin on the score sheet in Rainworth Miners Welfare’s 2-0 success over Thackley.

Bottesford Town won 1-0 at Clipstone thanks to Wayne Graves. Barton Town won 1-0 at Garforth Town courtesy of Leigh Hutchinson’s 19th-minute effort.

Richard Collier struck twice as Hemsworth Miners Welfare beat Athersley Recreation 4-2, Liversedge shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw with Penistone Church and it remained 0-0 between Bridlingto­n Town and Albion Sports. ANDY MITCHELL

NORTHAMPTO­N ON CHENECKS’ had a shock 3-2 win over leaders Leicester Nirvana

Tom Caton clinched their second win of the season after Justin McKenzie and Adam Spalding’s penalty.

Shaq Masters and James BesseySald­ana scored for Nirvana.

Debutant Kaine Felix scored twice for Deeping Rangers in a 6-0 win over Northampto­n Sileby Rangers. Jason Kilbride, twice, and Scott Coupland and Charlie Coulson also netted.

Wisbech Town are ten games unbeaten after a 3-0 win at St Andrews courtesy of Alex Beck, Michael Frew and Billy Smith’s penalty.

Simon Bolland scored as Sleaford Town registered a second league win, 1-0 over Cogenhoe United.

Barnes Gladman and Ben Williams scored for Harborough Town who also missed a penalty in their 2-1 win at ten-man Peterborou­gh Northern Star.

Tommy McGowan and Jake Dumbleton were on target for Daventry Town in their 2-1 home win over Wellingbor­ough Town.

Yaxley lost 3-1 to Kirby Muxloe and Wellingbor­ough Whitworth beat Rothwell Corinthian­s 2-1.

Basement side Oadby Town held Eynesbury Rovers 2-2 while Boston Town drew 1-1 at Desborough Town.

In the Knock Out Cup, Holbeach United won 6-0 at Buckingham Town.

MIDLAND LEAGUE

LEE KNIBBS’ Coventry Sphinx side made it three wins out of three since he took charge as they edged out Shawbury United 3-2.

Callum Woodward and Louis Guest gave them a two-goal inetrval lead only for their visitors to recover through Dan Beddows and Sean Evans.

Ryan Harkin wrapped up the win ten minutes from time when he fired home.

Coventry United beat Shepshed Dynamo 2-1 with Lewis Rankin and Mitch Piggon on target.

Second-placed Bromsgrove Sporting overcame Rugby Town 4-0, Robbie Bunn’s first half double giving them the perfect start.

And Westields also enjoyed a stylish 4-0 win over Long Eaton United.

Leaders Coleshill Town needed an injury time strike from Joe Halsall before seeing off basement club Boldmere St Michaels 1-0

And it was the same scoreline for Highgate United at South Normanton Athletic.

Joint manager Lee Hughes was among the goals as Worcester City beat Rocester 2-0, Heanor Town beat Lye Town by the same scorel and Joe Boachie’s brace gave Loughborou­gh University were 2-0 winners at AFC Wulfrunian­s.

Elsewhere Haughmond drew with Quorn and Sporting Khalsa won 2-1 at Stourport Swifts.

EASTERN COUNTIES

FELIXSTOWE & WALTON UNITED are 18 points clear after an impressive 4-0 away victory against Godmanches­ter Rovers.

Miles Powell, Scott Chaplin and Jordan Matthews were all on target for the visitors, who have now won 17 of their 18 league games.

Craig Hughes and Sam Newson were Brantham Athletic's scorers as they climbed to second after a 2-0 away victory against Histon.

Newmarket Town dropped to fourth after a 2-0 defeat at home to sixth placed Stowmarket Town with Josh Mayhew and Dave Cowley netting.

And Saffron Walden Town recorded a crushing 5-1 home win against fifth placed Wroxham.

Haverhill Borough remain three points above the drop zone after losing 4-3 at home to FC Clacton.

Kyle Baker struck a dramatic 90thminute winner for Kirkley & Pakefield as they moved comfortabl­y clear of the bottom three with a 2-1 success at struggling Hadleigh United.

Sam Goodge and Alex Theobald were Ely City's scorers as they beat Thetford Town 2-0 and Walsham-leWillows were held to a 2-2 draw by Haverhill Rovers.

Ten-man Long Melford fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Great Yarmouth Town.

RORY HAYWARD

SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS

BERKHAMSTE­D remain both top and unbeaten after they were victorious 2-1 at home to London Tigers. Ashton Campbell’s 16th-minute header gave them the early lead before Tigers levelled but Dan Jones’ 69thminute penalty earned them the points and an 11th league win of the season.

Welwyn Garden City still boast the division’s other unbeaten record as they came from behind to draw 2-2 at home to Leverstock Green.

Jay Rolfe went from villain to hero, putting through his own net to give Green a second half lead before scoring at the right end in stoppage-time.

Last season’s promoted sides continue to perform well. Biggleswad­e’s 2-0 win at Oxhey Jets and Harpenden Town’s 3-2 victory at Tring Athletic mean both sides are in the top four.

Colney Heath moved off the bottom after they won for just the second time this season, 1-0 at home to St Margaretsb­ury.

Hadley won 2-1 at Holmer Green thanks an own goal and Jermeel JnoBaptist­e’s strike.

Elsewhere, London Colney twice came from behind before losing 3-2 at Leighton Town. Dean Auburn’s late goal earned Stotfold a 1-1 draw at home to Cockfoster­s and Abraham Eze scored for Biggleswad­e United in their 1-1 draw at Wembley.

COMBINED COUNTIES

WESTFIELD won a 5-3 thriller at Banstead Athletic to extend their Premier Division leadership.

Tony Reid’s men moved four points clear with their 11th league win. Aaron Watson scored their first three goals, while Karle Carder-Andrews and 15goal Max Blackmore also netted.

Fourth-from-bottom Banstead’s scorers were Ashley Elson, AJ Morrison and Martin Smith.

Second-placed Walton & Hersham were held 3-3 at home by Balham, while third-placed Bedfont Sports drew 0-0 at fifth-placed Spelthorne Sports.

Horley Town stay fourth with a 3-3 draw at Farnham Town. Sutton Common Rovers drew 1-1 at AFC Hayes, to go 11 games unbeaten. And Hanworth Villa won 4-1 at Redhill.

Guildford City’s nine men lost 3-1 to

Knaphill. Kiye Martin put City ahead, but Ross Cheek’s brace and Jimmy Norman’s penalty snatched the win.

CB Hounslow United edged it 1-0 at Abbey Rangers. And North Greenford United won 2-1 at basement boys Epsom & Ewell, Nathaniel Mensah’s double eclipsing Kyle Hough’s first-half penalty equaliser.

Camberley Town won 2-0 at Colliers Wood United with goals by Kevin Wynter and Adam Francis. And Chertsey Town beat second-bottom Godalming Town at Wey Court.

SOUTHERN COMBINATIO­N

PEACEHAVEN & TELSCOMBE are the new league leaders despite being held to a 1-1 draw at home by Three Bridges.

Josh Marshall put the home side ahead but Brendan Murphy-McVey rescued a point for the visitors.

Pre-match leaders Haywards Heath Town dropped to third after a shock 10 defeat at Horsham YMCA. Phil Johnson netted the only goal on 75 minutes.

Chichester City are now second after drawing 1-1 at home to Eastbourne United AFC.

And Dan Simmonds grabbed a brace for Pagham as they secured an impressive 2-0 away victory over fourth placed Eastbourne Town.

Bottom side Littlehamp­ton Town suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Lancing with Alex Spinks and Lewis Finney both on target for the visitors.

Arundel remain in the bottom three after losing 3-2 away to Loxwood and AFC Uckfield Town are also still in the relegation places after a 3-3 draw at home to East Preston.

Saltdean United are up to fifth after an impressive 4-0 success at Crawley Down Gatwick and Hassocks beat Broadbridg­e Heath 3-2.

Kyle Woolven struck the match winner for Newhaven as they beat Worthing United 1-0 away.

RORY HAYWARD

HELLENIC LEAGUE

HIGHWORTH TOWN suffered their first defeat of the season, 4-2 against fifth-placed Wantage Town.

Jon Davoile put the hosts ahead on four minutes, but Jack Dunmall equalised on 28 minutes.

Jim Glover put the visitors in front two minutes after the break and Ash Edenboroug­h levelled on 63 minutes.

The visitors then made it the late, late show thanks Dunmall’s second goal after 80 minutes and Steve Robertson, five minutes later.

Reviving Bracknell Town moved up to second despite being held to a 1-1 home draw by fourth-placed Thatcham Town.

Shane Cooper-Clark put the visitors ahead after 49 minutes, only for Adam Cornell to earn a share of the spoils 14 minutes from time.

Brimscombe & Thrupp stay sixth, beating third-from-bottom Ascot United 3-0 thanks to goals from Karl Nash after 25 minutes, Jack Smith on 63 minutes and Sam Blackie with five minutes left.

Longlevens edged it 3-2 against lowly visitors Abingdon United, while Royal Wootton Bassett Town drew 11 with bottom club Fairford Town.

Binfield crashed 4-1 to Brackley Town Saints. Tuffley Rovers beat Woodley United 1-0. And Lydney Town drew 1-1 at fourth-from-bottom Highmoor Ibis. DAVID GROVES

SHEPPEY UNITED’S Dan Bradshaw led the way on a day where four players went home with match balls. Bradshaw scored four, including two penalties, as Ernie Batten's side came from behind to beat Glebe 6-2.

Cray Valley and Canterbury City fought out a thrilling 3-3 draw at Badgers with Cray’s ex-Charlton striker Kevin Lisbie and Canterbury’s Dave Pilcher sharing the six goals.

Rusthall surprised in-form Lordswood with a 3-2 away win, Steve Smith scoring all three. Liam Newton scored both goals for the Lords.

Leaders Sevenoaks Town beat Rochester United 3-0, Tom Youngs scored two, Rob Jones got the third.

Dan Adams also bagged a brace as Deal Town beat Croydon 3-1 on the coast, as did Beckenham Town's Jamie Humphries in their impressive 31 win over Whitstable Town.

Two goals in the opening 14 minutes set Corinthian on the way to a 2-1 win at Chatham Town.

Connor Freeman and a Freeman Rogers own goal put them in control with Taylor McDonough scoring the Chats' second-half consolatio­n.

Holland's & Blair are still looking for their first win of the season after going down 2-1 at Erith Town, while Tunbridge Wells beat ACC Croydon Athletic 1-0 PAUL CARTER

WESTERN LEAGUE

STREET went top after a 2-0 win over previously unbeaten Bradford Town.

Steve Murray put them ahead on the half-hour and Josh Wadham doubled their advantage early in the secondhalf following good build-up play from David O’Hare.

Previous leaders Buckland Athletic lost 1-0 at the Rapid Solicitors Ground, where a Joe McLennan free-kick 15 minutes from time gave Bitton victory.

Longwell Green Sports have their first point of the season after a late spot-kick in a 1-1 draw at Hengrove Athletic. Wellington beat Cribbs 1-0.

Gary Higdon’s 16th league goal of the season followed a strike from Joe Stradling as Melksham Town claimed to a 2-0 win at Shepton Mallet.

Goals from Ed Butcher, Leigh Bailey and Mark Salter helped Bridport claim three points after they defeated Brislingto­n 3-1 at St Mary’s Field.

An 82nd minute strike from Jack Taylor handed Bridgwater Town a 1-0 win at Odd Down, and Cadbury Heath powered to a 6-1 win over Wells City.

Liam Dempsey and Ollie Barnes struck in Clevedon Town’s 2-1 win at home to Chipping Sodbury Town.

WESSEX LEAGUE

BAFFINS MILTON ROVERS returned to Portsmouth empty handed as they were beaten 1-0 at Bemerton Heath Harlequins.

Scott Hassell netted the only goal of the game for the Salisbury based club at Western Way.

A crowd of 171 watched on at the Portway Stadium as Andover Town beat Bournemout­h Poppies 2-1.

After a goalless first-half, the visitors went ahead. But Glenn Burnett's side drew level, after hitting the post, when Luke Dempsey headed in Micky Hubbard's set piece.

Town then pushed for a winner and they scored it thanks to free scoring frontman, Zach Glasspool.

Hisham Kasimu was once again on target for Team Solent as they comfortabl­y beat Hamworthy United.

Kasimu put the hosts ahead on 17 minutes. And Silvano Obeng made it 2-0 on 39 minutes

After half-time, it was more of the same for the Students. Kasimu netted his second, from a one-on-one just seconds after half-time.

The Hammers reduced the deficit before Tyrell Mitford netted in style to make it 4-1. The final goal was Mitford's second, with a second assist for Hisham Kasimu.

Alresford Town and Blackfield and Langley drew 0-0 whilst Cowes Sports beat Hamble Club 2-1.
