Penalty epic is spot on

THE joint third longest penalty shootout in English senior football took place on Thursday night.

After a 2-2 draw, a Surrey Senior Cup match between Croydon FC and Molesey was locked at 11-11 in spot kicks when Bradley Wilson missed for Croydon.

Josh Andrew’s conversion ended the marathon at 32 kicks, eight behind the record between Tunbridge Wells and Littlehampton.
