STEELS KEEPER NETS TO LEVEL IT

- By David Bradley

ANOTHER blustery weekend saw Steels once again draw, but this time it was a last-minute equaliser from the keeper that gave the Steels a point.

In a game dominated by the wind and making it difficult to play it was Belper that drew first blood when Leandro Browne smashed one in to make 1-0.

A tough second half for the Steels was made tougher when Ben Rhodes saw red for two yellow card offences.

It was down to the last kick of game that the final action decided matters.

Steels got a corner, Dave Reay the keeper went up in hope and the ball fell to him and he smashed the ball home to make it one a piece at the full-time whistle.
