FAST-STARTNG UNITED GET BACK ON TRACK
TWO first-half goals were enough to seal a comfortable away win for Lincoln United, against a lacklustre Loughborough side.
Lincoln were ahead inside a minute after Loughborough defender Jean Desrosiers played a weak back pass straight to Jack McGovern. The striker had plenty of time to pick his spot before finishing cooly.
Forward Karl Demidh did force Lincoln keeper Sam Vince to pull off a smart stop after 15 minutes, but that was as good as it got for the home side who found themselves 2-0 down nine minutes later.
This time McGovern turned provider, teeing up Matthew Cotton to finish and help his side to a first league win in four.
