PLYMOUTH Parkway capitalise­d on Plymouth Argyle’s Friday night early Halloween horror show.

They beat Helston Athletic 2-0 to move five points clear of the Pilgrims who have played two games more.

Ivybridge Town pulled off a shock result with their 2-1 win at Argyle.

Tavistock beat Camelford 4-2, while Saltash United are fourth with a 3-0 win at Sticker.

Falmouth Town fell to a 1-0 defeat by Exmouth Town, while Launceston triumphed 3-1 at St Austell, Callum Thompson opening the scoring after 20 seconds,

Hosts Newquay lost 1-0 to Cullompton Rangers and Godolphin Atlantic went down 2-0 at Stoke Gabriel.

Meanwhile, Torpoint Athletic enjoyed a much needed 3-0 win over Callington Town. DAVID GROVES

SCOTT STANILAND fired a hattrick as Holbrook Sports defeated Blaby & Whetstone 3-1 to go top.

Teversal lost 2-1 at Clifton while Belper’s Mick Dunne scored the winner against Anstey Nomads.

Simeon Lawrence smashed a hattrick as Borrowash Victoria defeated Stapenhill 4-1, in a match marred by four dismissals late on.

Struggling Graham Street won 4-1 at Dunkirk 4-1 with Jordan Sanders, Ash Griffiths and Kurt Dallison netting.

Connor Moor, Errol Campbell and Ryan Smith scored the goals as Radford beat Ashby 3-2. Carl Moore and Jamie Renshaw fired Selston to victory at West Bridgford. Gedling Miners beat Birstall 2-0 with Ryan Plummer and Jurgen Charleswor­th goals. And Tom Johnson scored on debut for bottom club Radcliffe Olympic in their 3-2 loss to Barrow.

WEST MIDLANDS REGIONAL

SECOND-HALF strikes from Tom Hill sent Wolves Sporting Community four points clear with a 20 win over second-bottom Dudley Town. Hill took his total for the season to 19 but Wolves Sporting were made to fight by a much-improved Dudley.

Second placed Ellesmere Rangers were held 2-2 by Wolves Casuals while Tividale remain third after a 2-1 win at local rivals Dudley Sports.

Cradley Town crashed 1-0 at Wellington with Luke Griffiths’ goal. Pegasus are out of the bottom three with a 2-1 win over Smethwick Rangers, Kyle Panniers netting a 77th minute winner. But Stone Old Alleynians slip into it as a result with a 4-2 loss to Hereford Lads Club.

Wellington Amateurs stay bottom after an 8-0 blitz by Black Country Rangers. The Shropshire strugglers are without a win in 16 games.
