- By Joshua Jones

ROUND-UP JAKE Robinson scored a second-half hat-trick as Billericay Town progressed to the third qualifying round of this season’s FA Trophy after beating Bury Town 6-2.

Billericay took the lead after just three minutes as Adam Cunnington lobbed the Bury goalkeeper, but ten minutes later Bury were in front thanks to Cemal Ramadan’s penalty and Ollie Hughes’ finish.

Rob Swaine levelled for the hosts to make it 2-2 at half-time but the floodgates opened in the second half as Robinson scored his hat-trick, completed by a fine diving header.

Sam Deering rounded off the scoring for the Bostik League side with a curling effort seven minutes from time. Royston Town came from 2-0

down to beat Leatherhead 3-2, with a 93rd-minute winner from Adam Murray sending the home side through.

Leatherhead took the lead after two minutes and doubled their advantage 13 minutes later, but Royston launched their comeback when Harry Darling headed in just before half-time.

Josh Castiglione equalised for Royston with a great strike before Darling was sent off for a second booking midway through the second half, but Murray’s late goal completed the turnaround. Margate’s game at home to

Bowers & Pitsea was postponed after the away side were penalised for fielding an ineligible player.
