THE Premier Division programme was wiped out by incessant rain. However, the first prize money of the season was decided with Mousehole AFC scooping £300 for being the only West Division side through to the last eight of the Walter C Parson Funeral Directors League Cup after their 2-1 third round extra-time win against Premier Division Launceston.

It was 1-1 after 90 minutes. But a 105th-minute winner by substitute Caleb Marsden edged the underdogs home. Sam Davey had put the visitors ahead and Luke Johnson equalised.

Newquay, St Austell and Torpoint Athletic all got through to the last eight of the RGB Cornwall Senior Cup, but Camelford exited the competition.

In the third round ties Newquay beat Millbrook 4-2, while St Austell defeated Camelford 2-1, and Torpoint Athletic knocked out Carharrack 2-1

DEADLY DUNKIRK blasted four goals in the opening 15 minutes as they demolished West Bridgford 60.

The win moves the Boatmen up two places to fifth spot on a day when only three matches survived the weather.

Tim Berridge struck in the fifth and 11th minutes with Steve Chaplin scoring on eight and 15 minutes.

Daryll Thomas made it five, straight after the restart, with Chaplin completing his hat-trick in the 49th minute.

Stapenhill also had a great away day, winning 5-1 at high-flying Blaby. George Teeney, Louis Briscoe, James Disney and Niall Dawkins scored for the Swans alongside an own goal.

Gedling Miners trailed to a Tyrell Shannon-Lewis goal for Clifton All Whites at the break but bounced back to win 3-2.

Errol Campbell, Ryan Plummer and Jay Knight hit the goals in a win that moves them up to tenth spot.

RAIN wiped out the Premier League programme, so attention turns to midweek when high-flying Malvern Town have a chance to go top.

The Worcestershire side are unbeaten in their last 12 league games, going back to October, and victory at home to Wellington Amateurs on Wednesday would give them a one-point advantage over Black Country Rangers.

It will be a daunting prospect for their opponents – the Amateurs have managed just one win all season and are three points adrift at the foot of the table.

Two games beat the weather in Division One including a fine 6-0 win for Wem Town at Allscott, which takes them level with leaders Newport Town.

In the other match, Darlaston Town 1874 beat Bromyard Town 4-3, to go third. Tyrone Clarke-O’Connell hit a late winner. NICK PULLEN
