- By Matt Badcock

STOCKPORT COUNTY player of the season Jason Oswell will be a Football League player from August after signing for League Two Morecambe.

The 25-year-old striker has had a host of clubs watching him for his 29 goals in 47 appearances for the Hatters last term.

Shrimpers boss Jim Bentley has tied him to a two-year deal and is confident the former Inverness, Rhyl and Newtown man can make the step up.

Bentley told Morecambe’s website: “Jason is proven to be a top goalscorer and now with full-time football we are confident he will do it at Football League level.” Nuneaton Borough have made a real statement of intent by signing former Premier League midfielder Kemy Agustien. The 31year-old made 39 appearances for Swansea City between 2010 and 2013 and has also represented Brighton, Crystal Palace and Dutch side AZ Alkmaar. AFC Telford United have snapped up Kidderminster Harriers striker

Andre Brown, while Curzon Ashton midfielder Ben McKenna is making the switch to Bradford Park Avenue.

Boston United boss Craig Elliott has brought in midfielder Spencer Harriers. The 27-year-old has scored over 30 goals in the last two seasons for Shaw Lane, who folded their senior team a fortnight ago.

Chester continue their summer rebuild with the signing of a familiar face to joint-managers Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley with midfielder Scott Burton signing from Salford City.

Bath City have snapped up defender Robbie Cundy and Adam Mann. Scott Fenwick has penned a new deal to remain at Chelmsford City while Billericay Town have made an impressive signing in former Luton Town midfielder Jake Howells.
