BEES ARE BUZZING AS STILL RAIDS HIS DAGGERS
BARNET boss John Still has made a triple raid on former club Dagenham & Redbridge by signing midfielders Andre Boucaud and Charlee Adams as well as attacker Dan Sparkes.
It takes the Daggers-toBees count up to five as Still, who was appointed Barnet chief in May, rebuilds the squad following the club’s relegation from the Football League.
It’s been a busy week of arrivals at The Hive. Attacking full-back Cheye Alexander joins former Aldershot Town team-mate Callum Reynolds, while talented striker Jack Barham gets his National League chance. The 22-year-old scored 37 goals in the Bostik South last season for Phoenix Sports and Greenwich Borough.
Ebbsfleet United boss Daryl McMahon has snapped up his former Farnborough team-mate Jack King. The 32-year-old ex-Woking and Preston midfielder was released by League Two Stevenage at the end of last season. McMahon says King will compete for a place in Fleet’s defensive line.
Just along the road, Fleet’s Kent rivals Maidstone United have made the addition of a title-winning left-back. George McLennan, 22 and who was at Ashford United last season, was part of Cheltenham Town’s championship side in 2016.
James Alabi will be looking to put a frustrating season behind him as he moves to Leyton Orient. The England C striker joined Tranmere Rovers from Chester last summer but ended the season on loan at Dover Athletic.
Bromley have added Braintree Town’s National League South promotionwinning centre-back Marc-Anthony Okoye, while Tim Flowers has made his first signing at
Solihull Moors in Alex Gudger. The defender looked set to stay at Brackley Town, where he was a big part of their FA Trophy glory last season, but will now step up a level.
Salford City continue their summer shopping spree by picking up defender James Jones from Chester, Paddy McLaughlin is on his way to Hartlepool United from Gateshead and Luke Burke has penned a twoyear deal at AFC Fylde.
Meanwhile, former Fylde midfielder Sam Finley has joined League One new boys Accrington Stanley.
