- By Andy Mitchell

RIKARDO REID’S second-half hat- trick helped Boldmere St Michaels to a welcome treble of their own with a 5-2 triumph over Shepshed Dynamo.

Reid doubled his tally for the season to inspire the Mikes to a third straight success that moved them up to fourth in the Premier Division table.

The hosts had to come from behind following Niall Prenderville’s opener, but Owen Parry levelled matters on the half hour.

Reid bagged his first on 55 minutes, only for Celson Patrocinio to restore parity.

The turning point came when Shepshed’s Zach Hill was sent off for a second yellow, with Reid pouncing to put Boldmere back in front within three minutes.

Ryan Shaw soon made sure of the points, with Reid completing his memorable treble at the death.

In the Premier Division’s only other match,

Westfields battled back from two down to salvage a point at promoted Dunkirk.

Westfields had the better of the early exchanges, but went into the break a goal down thanks to Romello Nangle’s close-range finish three minutes into firsthalf stoppage time.

George Harrison’s freekick doubled Dunkirk’s lead just before the hour, but Ben Miller halved the deficit from the penalty spot following a foul on Carlos Moreira.

Mark Magee brushed the post for Westfields, but they were not to be denied as Alex Hainault’s header rescued a 2-2 draw with four minutes to go.
