GUY BASKERVILLE was named man of the match after his two goals helped Sutton Common Rovers to a 4-2 home win over struggling Walton & Hersham.

Centre-half Baskerville struck as early as the first minute when his free header from a corner flew into the back of the net.

Ollie Twum added a second in the 12th minute, before the visitors pulled one back through Marlon Tinder who scored from a rebound.

Bill Page marked his return to the side by scoring Rovers’ third in the 50th minute, only for Harrison Deacon to reduce the deficit five minutes later

Baskerville then put the issue beyond doubt in the 71st minute.

Knaphill made a superb start at home to Raynes Park Vale when Jack Collins scored a storming direct freekick from 25 yards after six minutes.

Nathan Thomas added a second goal for the hosts in the 32nd minute.

Jack Williamson pulled one back from the penalty spot in the 69th minute, but hopes of a revival by the visitors were dashed four minutes later when Pat Gibson was shown a straight red card for a challenge on the last man, leaving Knaphill to claim a 2-1 victory.

In Division One, Frimley Green returned from Bagshot as 3-2 winners while Epsom & Ewell beat visitors Tooting Bec 3-1.
