BULLS’ NEW ERA YET TO GET GOING
LIFE after Peter Beadle got off to a losing start for Hereford following their surprise sacking of the popular boss.
Defender Ryan Green and Gareth Davies have been installed as caretaker managers while the National League North outfit search for their new man.
But they were beaten 2-0 at their Edgar Street home yesterday by Ashton United, who secured victory through first-half goals from Matthew Regan and Matthew Chadwick.
Beadle took charge of Hereford when they reformed from the ashes of Hereford United and, in their three seasons in existence, has led them to a hat-trick of titles to rise from Step 5 to Step 2 as well as an FA Vase appearance.
But that didn’t spare Beadle, whose assistant Steve Jenkins has also left, after a run of five games without a win saw him axed.
