PRIESTLEY HAT-TRICK DEFEATS SEAGULLS

OSSETT United booked their place in the next round of the FA Trophy by recording a remarkable 60 win over nine-man

Colwyn Bay after Luke Horrocks and Danny Andrews were both dismissed shortly after half-time.

Adam Priestley gave Ossett the lead before the break, before they pressed home their man advantage when Aidan Chippendal­e scored from distance.

Marcus Day, Adam Priestley and Karl Jones all added to the score from close-range. Priestley nipped in to complete his hat-trick to add to Colwyn Bay's misery.

Brighouse Town progressed into the next round with a 4-3 win over Morpeth Town.

Zeph Thomas got the visitors off to a flyer in the 18th minute, before Iulian Petrache netted in the 38th minute with volley.

Morpeth turned the game around by half-time when Liam Henderson slotted home from the penalty spot.

Michael Turner slide the ball into his own goal on 47 minutes as Brighouse levelled.

The visitors then hit the front on 64 minutes courtesy of Martin’s header as Henderson scored another penalty to make it 3-3.

Martin had the final say with an 84th minute effort. Frickley Athletic beat

Skelmersda­le United 3-1 with goals from Jed Wilkinson, Phil Watt and Jameel Ible after Kevin Edgar’s opener.

Clitheroe sparked a sterling second-half comeback to turn around a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2 courtesy of James Sloanes’ winner against Pontefract Collieries. Chasetown beat Lincoln United 2-1 to progress to the next round as Jack Langston slotted two penalties to seal the victory. Gresley Town couldn’t get the better of Newcastle Town in a 2-1 loss. Michael Conlon scored the winner after Matt Lowe’s equaliser. Ramsbottom United pulled off a 2-1 victory over Trafford, while Soham Town Rangers could only draw 0-0 with AFC Mansfield.
