There’s nothing wrong in fans flying at flag

IN A FINAL replay to Messrs Lancashire and White from Stockport (Fans’ Forum, October 7 and 14), but I’m afraid that one of you is contradicting the other.

Why would we need a fire certificate for our flags? Alfreton is not the sort of club to set fire to our flags at the back of the stand! There is nothing offensive on them and as Edgeley Park is segregated, so how can we hang them in the home section?

Mr White claims there is a section for us to hang up our flags at Stockport but that was not the case as we were stopped from bringing them in at the turnstiles. It proves that flags are not always allowed in as stated.

At the same time, I’d like to say a big thank you to all the groundspeople at Mickleover Sports for letting us hang our flags up during our recent visit. A fun day was had by all. GLYN BRADSHAW Eastwood, Notts
