FARM ARE LEFT IN CINDERS

- By Dylan Terry

A BLISTERING first-half display saw Cinderford dispatch Bristol Manor Farm 4-2 in an impressive performance from the home side.

Cinderford had just one win in five while Farm went into this one with back-to-back victories.

But Cinderford flew out of the traps with three first-half goals from Nick Rhodes, Matt MacDonald and Dan MacDonald to all but secure the points before half-time.

James Harding added a fourth shortly after the restart to complete the rout in what was, for an hour, a truly onesided affair.

Visitors Farm pulled a couple of consolation goals back but it had little bearing on the result as Cinderford moved into the play-offs with another win.
