WOODS SURRENDER LEAD

- By Robin Piper

NORTHWOOD were held at home by lowly South Park after they let a two-goal lead slip at the Acretweed Stadium.

Woods were two goals to the good by the half-hour mark through strikes from Ben Pattie and Sam Tring.

And at that point they looked good value for their lead, though the visitors were not going to give up without a firm fight.

South Park reduced the arrears before the break through Tyreke Leslie, leaving the home side nervous come the interval.

And the visitors deservedly drew level on 67 minutes as Sebastien Osei-Obengo converted.

Woods never looked like regaining the lead with South Park securing a deserved point after a difficult week.
