IZZY’S A MENACE AS CHIPS CRACKLE

- By Trevor Stotten

CHIPSTEAD continued their recent impressive form by beating a Waltham Abbey side that started atop the table courtesy of two goals from in-form Izzy Bademosi.

Oliver Pain in the Chipstead goal had already been called into action early on to repel attacks from the visitors, but the hosts soon took control.

Sam Clayton's delivery created danger in the Waltham box, but it was Bademosi who made the breakthrough on 22 minutes, surging through and firing across the keeper.

Seven minutes later and Chipstead were 2-0 up, as Bademosi cut inside before the ball ran on to Josh Gallagher, whose shot was blocked, but Bademosi was on hand to put away the rebound.
