REDS GET BACK TO WINNING WAYS
COLNE put last week’s calamity behind them in an emphatic victory away at Market Drayton Town.
After losing 6-1 to Runcorn Linnets, Colne came out with a point to prove gained the lead in the second, Alex Curran profiting from a mistake by Drayton goalkeeper Ashley Rawlings.
Connor Hughes made it 2-0 to the Reds before more complacent defending from the home side gifted Matthew Morgan with a third.
Colne added to a goal within a matter of minutes, Brad Lynch clinching the fourth to round off a resounding display from his side.
The result moves Colne into the play-off spots and now sit in fifth position in the table.
