STOPPER PAUL IS FINALLY BEATEN

- By Alan Beckett

SPIRITED Coleshill fell to a narrow defeat at the hands of Aylesbury.

How they went into the break with the score goalless was purely down to keeper Paul Hathaway, who made saves from Ben Seaton, Greg Williams and Benjamin Aghadiuno.

In reply, captain Joe Halsall’s diving header from a George Washbourne cross went over the bar.

The Colemen were reduced to ten men on 41 minutes when Danny Tymon retaliated after a tussle just outside the box.

The winning goal came in controversial fashion as centre-back Guy Clark was initially fouled but with no whistle, his next challenge was adjudged illegal, Ollie Hogg firing in the resultant free-kick.
