Dorking continue fine run of form

- By Les Freeland

DORKING Wanderers went second in the table after three second half goals downed Wingate & Finchley.

The visitors created some opportunities from two corners in quick succession but Slavomir Huk made the important save.

A melee developed after 20 minutes when Niall McManus was deliberately tripped by Brandon McKenna when running through towards the penalty area and both players ended up being yellow carded.

Huk was again called into action with a shot from Reece Beccles-Richards but there was not much to separate the teams at half time.

Wanderers manager Marc White made a change at the interval bringing on Jason Prior who has missed the last two games through injury, and immediately the changed formation created openings.

Five minutes in and Prior released the ball over to Richards who squared the ball for Giuseppe Sole to slot home comfortably.

Another move started by Prior led to JJ O’Sullivan running into the area to score the second two minutes later.

Another clean sheet for Wanderers helped keep up the fine form.
