TOMMY BRADFORD’S second-half double gave Carshalton victory in this entertaining encounter between the division’s form teams.
However, Dorking’s 13-point lead at the top of the table remained intact.
It was an instantly competitive game, with the visitors putting early pressure on the Dorking defence.
Chances fell to both sides until the lively Luke Moore smashed in a Jason Prior cross on 14 minutes.
Carshalton came close before half-time, with Wands keeper Slav Huk saving well from Ricky Korboa.
The Robins looked very lively after the break, and equalised after 50 minutes when Bobby Price scored from a well-worked move, heading in from a cross.
Bradford put the Robins in front seven minutes later.
And despite the threat from Wanderers, Bradford scored again with just 11 minutes left after Huk had made two more outstanding saves.
It was now an uphill battle for the League leaders, but a superb strike from substitute Elliott Buchanan led to the frantic last ten minutes
