WINNER MIKE IS SUCH A HAPPY SNAPPER

-

PHOTOGRAPHER Mike Moore is at last the focus in front of the camera after becoming the first top prize winner of My Club Lotto.

The 57-year-old banked a tasty £5,000 this week after his ticket was randomly picked in last month’s launch draw.

He bought five tickets for £5 from Lingfield FC, where he is the club photographer.

And, as a result, Southern Combination side Lingfield also earned added commercial revenue through each Lotto ticket which was sold via them.

Indeed, it was double delight for Crystal Palace fan Mike, who received his £5,000 cheque from My Club CEO Graham Anderson and Eagles legend John Salako, a My Club ambassador.

Mike said: “It’s very nice to have a win like this, especially at this time of year. I can now treat my family to rather special holiday. It also good to know that some of the proceeds will be pumped back into the club coffers.

“My day was made even better for meeting John, who was one of the Palace heroes to reach the FA Cup final in 1990 having beaten Liverpool in one of the great all-time semi-finals.”

Solako said: “The great thing about My Club Lotto is that it gives fans and locals a chance to win big prizes in the knowledge that some of the ticket money goes straight back to their chosen club – from grass roots all the way up to League One.

“I know how important this can be for clubs outside the cash rich world of the Premier League. I played for a club down the road in my hometown of Westerham.

“My Club can offer a valuable source of added revenue for thousands of clubs up and down the country.”
