HORSFALL SURFACE IS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY

-

WORK has started to convert National League North side Bradford Park Avenue’s old natural grass to a new synthetic pitch, with a system designed by PST Sports and surface made by FIFA Preferred Producer, CCGrass.

The new pitch at the Horsfall Stadium will be tested to FIFA’s highest standard, ensuring that it’s the best possible pitch, combining football performance with safety and durability.

The sub base and drainage systems, designed by PST Sport will ensure a high quality, free draining field.

CCGrass and PST Sport worked together, creating an innovative surface that meets both football and rugby league requirements at the stadium.

The new synthetic grass surface combines the successful Max monofilament yarn, made with C8 polymer, with a strengthened fibrillated yarn, for a unique surface to meet the club’s demands. The concept of combining two different types of yarn to create a hybrid turf is a step forward for dual sport pitches.

Jamie Forrester, CCGrass’s UK Business Development Manager, and former professional footballer, explains: “This pitch will be used, not just for the senior team, but for junior teams and the local community.

“The new CCGrass surface has been developed specifically to meet senior football demands, at the same time, allowing full availability outside of league matches.”

PST Sport has also secured the contract to construct a new 3G pitch, with CCGrass, again, for National League South club, Hemel Hempstead Town.

This is a major investment and one that will take the club from strength to strength.

Such progressive investments allow clubs to plan for the next generation, providing yearround access to match and training facilities, helping to secure the future for players at all levels.
