FANTASY NON- LEAGUE WIN £5000

WEEKLY UPDATE

- By Ian White

Welcome to the latest update of Fantasy Non-League 2020/21. Today’s update covers the period Sunday 7th February 2021 through to Saturday 13th February 2021.

Before we get into this week’s update, a quick word about substitutions. I have updated all your changes and they are all now in play. Remember you can tell if your subs have been activated because your team name will have the following behind it [S] if it hasn’t and you sent your subs in please contact the FNL Helpdesk. Also remember that the subs kick in from February 1st, 2021 and not the 1st of January as normal. But sadly, these aren’t normal times.

As I have said above things are certainly not normal at the moment. This really can be seen in the weekly points totals. If you take a look at the current leaders the top three in the main FNL table. Harrison WBA who is leading the way only scored 89pts over the seven days that this update covers. Second placed Maine Road Terras faired a little better as they managed to grab 145pts. Third placed Chasing Shadows could only accumulate 77pts. Yet if you look at this week’s highest scorer Gaswork Ender Bob who is sitting in 142nd place he managed to score 222pts, so it is clear the current situation is starting to help teams lower down the FNL 2020/21 table. This was clearly reflected in the January 2021 Manager of the Month winner who in the main table was down in 265th place last week.

One team who is really feeling the pinch of the lack of games is Oil Beef Hooked who for many weeks had been in top spot and this week he has moved down to seventh position and that wasn’t helped by the fact that he only scored 43pts this week. Sadly, for him and so many others I can’t see much changing, in fact it could get worse. With a bit of luck, we should have a clearer idea of what is going to happen in the next week or two.

However, remember what I said a few weeks ago, as long as there is a NonLeague ball being kicked the FNL 2020/21 will continue!
