WALTON & HERSHAM extended their lead at the top of Premier South with a 2-0 win at Frimley Green.

On target were Harry Mills and Dean Rule, while the visitors’ goalkeeper Liam Allen saved a spot kick.

Jersey Bulls hit six without reply past visitors AFC Croydon Athletic, with Sol Solomon hitting a hat-trick, Luke Campbell covering two penalties and Adam Trotter grabbing one goal.

Josh Ogunseye helped himself to a double which, added to by solitary goals from Olly Ryman and Greg Haydon, saw Farnham Town return from Fleet Town with a 4-0 victory.

Mal Thomas hit two goals and Tame Caubo and Danilo Cadete one each as Badshot Lea won 4-1 at Horley Town.

Hosts Beckenham Town beat Redhill 3-1 thanks to strikes from Nick Curran, Joe Healy and Louis Theophanou­s who scored his first goal for the club since joining on dual registrati­on from Farnboroug­h.

Balham lost 3-2 at Sheerwater, who scored through Billy Nutbeam, Anthony Ogbanufe and Theo White.

Elsewhere, Aaron Burchett was on target for visitors Camberley Town as they beat Molesey 1-0 and Cobham drew 1-1 at home Colliers Wood United.

Hanworth Villa stay 15 point clear at the top of Premier North after their 3-1 victory at Windsor. Goals from Michael Kamara and Meshach Williams were followed by a Sam Merson penalty.

Billy Leonard, Samir Sheffi and Louis Sears scored for North Greenford United as they won 3-2 at Spelthorne Sports to go second while Charlie Postance hit two and Luke Robertson one as third-placed hosts Abbey Rangers beat

Reading City 3-0.

Samuel Odusoga, Mohammed Khadum and Nile Waite all bagged braces as

Edgware Town stormed to a 6-1 win at

CB Hounslow United.

PREMIER NORTH leaders Long Eaton United returned from Sleaford Town with a 2-1 victory after being made to fight every inch of the way for all three points by the hosts.

Reco Fyfe netted the visitors’ first goal but it was not until the 79th minute that Kam Campbell netted their winner.

Goals by Daniel Munday, Alby Lansdowne, Steve Hart and a Ryan Seal penalty gave Gresley Rovers a 4-3 win over visitors Melton Town.

A double from Paddy Webb and a goal each from Chris Camwell and Ben Gowing saw Quorn win 4-1 at Heanor Town.

An 80th-minute Will Bird goal gave hosts Deeping Rangers a 3-2 victory over Boston Town, with Marcus Pancho and Luke Steele scoring earlier.

Pinchbeck United lost 2-1 at home to Eastwood CFC, who netted through Kyle Wrenn and Louis Czerwak, while

Newark were held to a 1-1 draw by visitors Skegness Town.

In Premier South, Anstey Nomads won 3-0 at Leicester Nirvana thanks to second-half goals from Ben Bayliss, Corey Armeni and Michael Reeve.

Robbie Parson from the spot, Carter Price and Kyle Ansell netted for hosts

Wellingbor­ough Town in their 3-0 win over Coventry United while Jake Bettles bagged a brace as Desborough Town beat visitors Potton United 2-0.

Lewis Entwhistle and Baillie O’Reilly were on target for Long Bucky as they saw off visitors Godmanches­ter Rovers 2-1.

Second-from-bottom Biggleswad­e United beat basement visitors

Northampto­n ON Chenecks 1-0 thanks to a Charlie Black goal while Eynesbury Rovers forced a 1-1 draw at Rothwell Corinthian­s and the Lutterwort­h Town verus GNG Oadby Town encounter ended goalless.

In Division One, hosts Belper United made it seven wins on the trot when they beat visitors Ingles 7-1. Richard Hanslow scored his second hat-trick in a fortnight and Will Cope, son of Belper legend Richard Cope, netted on his debut. The other goals were by Ryan Bakes, Chris Jones and Jack Tyson.

Elsewhere, Shay Brennan struck six times for title-chasing Aylestone Park in their 8-0 rout of hosts Bourne Town, including their 100th of the season. The other goals came from Declan Towers and Shay Beeby.

Bourne have also appointed a new joint first team boss in former Pinchbeck United assistant Allan Ross.

NORTH WEST COUNTIES

SKELMERSDA­LE UNITED moved back to within two points of leaders Macclesfie­ld as Elliot Morris scored twice in their 3-2 win at Prestwich Heys.

Morris put Skem ahead with the only goal of the first half, and although Lee Knight levelled, Morris’ second and Lloyd Ellams’ goal secured victory.

Charnock Richard moved up to fourth as they won 3-0 at Ashton Athletic, Lewis Haydock and Carl Grimshaw on target in the first half before Jordan Darr added a third straight after the restart.

Ashton remain four points outside the bottom two as Runcorn Town lost 4-1 at home to Longridge Town, Jack Anderton and Connor Martin putting Longrdige ahead. Although Thomas Ruffer pulled one back, Scott Harries and Paul Turner secured the win.

Padiham eased their relegation fears by coming from behind to beat Avro 2-1, Oumar Camara scoring before Matthew Boland’s brace won it late on.

Vauxhall Motors were 2-0 winners at

Burscough, Kieran Garner-Knapper and Craig Cairns on target, whilst Barnoldwic­k Town and Irlam drew 2-2, Town’s Gareth Hill with a brace.

In the First Division South New Mills beat Sandbach United 3-0 to move level on points with leaders West Didsbury & Chorlton, while Brocton were 5-0 winners at St Martins. In the First Division North, Bury AFC remain top after their 2-0 win at Holker Old Boys but

THE MORNING’S top two continued their free-scoring form with emphatic victories.

Leaders Chatham Town won 5-0 at

Welling Town with Dan Bradshaw netting four, two either side of half-time with Michael Dalton bagging the other.

The goals were more shared around at Sheppey United as they hammered

Crowboroug­h Athletic 6-0.

Warren Mfula scored twice in the first 15 minutes before Billy Bennett’s penalty made it 3-0 at half-time.

Michael Hagan, Lex Allen and Helge Orome all netted in the last eight minutes as Ernie Batten’s side completed a resounding win.

Liam Middleton netted both goals for Kennington in their 2-0 win at Erith & Belvedere to complete back-to-back victories away from home.

Luke Adams gave Rusthall the lead at

Canterbury City but the hosts hit back to win 2-1 with second half goals from Charlie Weston and Luke Ilsley.

Hollands & Blair were held to a goalless draw by Fisher at The Star Ground while K Sports progressed in the League Cup as they came from a goal down to win 2-1 at Lordswood.

Charlie Edmundson struck on the stroke of half-time for the Lords but Herve Mbongue and Kane Butler turned the game around in the last 15 minutes.

In Division One, Brad Webb and Adam Hooper both scored hat-tricks for Snodland Town who came from a goal down to beat Chessingto­n & Hook 9-1!

SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS

RISBOROUGH RANGERS’ record-breaking run of 52 games unbeaten finally came to an end after they lost 1-0 at Ardley United.

It was a deserved win, sealed by a magnificen­t Mason Courtney long range goal fit to win any game.

Hosts Hadley are up to second after they beat Holmer Green 4-0, Solomon Ofori netting from close range before Luke Alfano’s header doubled their advantage. Cameron Ferguson and Ofori, with his second, rounded it off.

Leighton Town remain third after Kieran Turner’s goal helped them to a 1-1 draw at home to Arlesey Town and two of the top six met at Harpenden Town where the hosts lost 2-0 to Leverstock Green with Rawn Seale scoring one and setting up the other.

At the foot of the table, Crawley Green remain bottom after they lost 5-4 at home to Oxhey Jets. Jets led 4-1 at half-time and despite Green’s stirring comeback, held on with Sean Giordmaina’s brace proving crucial.

Tring Athletic remain in the bottom two after losing 1-0 at home to Harefield United with Dominican internatio­nal Richard Pacquette getting the winner but Baldock Town move away from the bottom two after a 1-1 draw at Flackwell Heath. Jack Shakespear scored for Heath following some unselfish play from Matthew Ayers with Ashley Hay scoring for Baldock.

Elsewhere, Milton Keynes Irish won 2-1 at Broadfield­s United and Aylesbury Vale Dynamoes drew 1-1 at home to Dunstable Town.

SOUTHERN COMBINATIO­N

NEWHAVEN are just one point behind leaders Littlehamp­ton Town, who weren’t involved in league action at the weekend, after a 2-1 home win against AFC Uckfield Town.

Alfie Rogers and Henry Watson were both on target for the third placed side while Broadbridg­e Heath are up to fourth in the table after a dramatic 3-2 home victory over struggling East Preston. Jamie Taylor netted twice for the home side, including a 96th minute winning goal with Lewis Croal adding the other.

Pagham dropped to fifth after they could only manage a 2-2 draw away to ten-man Alfold. Jordan Mace and Jamie Chesworth, who was later sent-off, had given Alfold a 2-1 lead but Joe Clarke’s late equaliser rescued a point for the visitors.

Aaron Capon and Louis Veneti were both on the score sheet for seventh placed Eastbourne Town as they beat Peacehaven & Telscombe 2-1 at home and Josh Short’s second half leveller saw Hassocks draw 2-2 away to Little Common.

In the day’s other game to beat the weather, Steyning Town drew 1-1 at home to Horsham YMCA. Mark Pritchard-Cave had put the away side in front but Rob Clarke’s equaliser secured a point for Steyning.

Two matches were called with pitches unfit for action including bottom side AFC Varndeania­ns game away to Crawley Down Gatwick and Lingfield’s home game against Eastbourne United Associatio­n.

WESSEX LEAGUE

HOSTS HORNDEAN kept their foot in the door of the top division’s title race with a 4-2 win over Bashley.

Zack Willett put the Deans ahead but the lead lasted just eight minutes as Bashley equalised from the spot on 22

minutes. Luke Dempsey arrived in the box unmarked three minutes later and scored a bullet header to restore Horndean’s advantage. Ten minutes later and Connor Duffin netted to make it three. Horndean extended their lead late in the second-half via Tommy Tierney before Bashley pulled another goal back late on.

AFC Stoneham and Shaftesbur­y played out an entertaini­ng 2-2 draw. Shaftesbur­y took the lead after 12 minutes before the Purps equalised on 18 minutes, Nathan Clements scoring.

After half-time, Scott Hills put Stoneham ahead but the lead was shortlived, Shaftesbur­y levelling three minutes later. The visitors then had a penalty saved but they converted the rebound to earn a point to take back to Dorset.

Christchur­ch held in-form Baffins Milton Rovers to a 0-0 draw at Hurn Bridge while US Portsmouth overcame

Amesbury Town, Simon Woods, Joe Johnson and Flori Vucaj all scoring.

Elsewhere, debutant Rafael Ramos scored twice for hosts AFC Portcheste­r as they beat Alton 5-1. Steve Ramsey netted from the spot before the lead was doubled by Lee Wort. Ramos got his first on 63 minutes before Alton pulled a goal back. Sam Pearce then restored their three goal cushion before Ramos wrapped up the scoring.

EASTERN COUNTIES

GORLESTON remain one point clear at the top of the table after Connor Deeks struck a dramatic 88th minute winner in a 1-0 away victory against Haverhill Rovers on Saturday afternoon.

The defeat for Haverhill means they remain just a point above the drop zone.

Second-placed Mildenhall Town, who have played two games more than leaders Gorleston, ran out comfortabl­e 3-1 winners at home to Thetford Town.

James Hall netted twice and Nathan Stewart added the other as the title-chasers cruised home.

Elsewhere, Cain Eagleton scored the only goal of the game for fourth-placed

Mulbarton Wanderers just after half time as they beat struggling Brantham Athletic 1-0 away from home.

Bottom side Swaffham Town were held to a goalless draw at home by Kirkley & Pakefield while Long Melford remain in the bottom two, just one point adrift of safety, after a 1-1 draw away to Woodbridge Town saw them return home with only a point to show for their efforts.

March Town United are seventh after Eoin McQuaid and Jack Friend were both on target in a 2-0 away success against Hadleigh United while fifth placed Norwich United suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Whitton United.

The day’s other game between Ely City and Newmarket Town finished in a 2-2 draw after Josh Townshend twice equalised to rescue a point for the home side.

NORTHERN LEAGUE

GREG MCCARAGHER netted the only goal of the game as Penrith picked up a priceless 1-0 win in their basement battle against Northaller­ton Town.

After a great move down the righthand side, McCaragher chested and volleyed into the roof of the Town net.

Bishop Auckland were joint-bottom with the pair, on 18 points, heading into the weekend and the Bishops held managerles­s Whitley Bay to a 1-1 draw, Malky Morien firing the Bay ahead before Greg Rutherford smashed home the equaliser just minutes after Scott Lowrey had been sent off for a second yellow.

Bobby Taylor netted from 20 yards as Ashington beat Sunderland RCA 1-0 while Newton Aycliffe beat high-flying

Thornaby 2-0v and Jason Blackburn netted all four goals as Guisboroug­h picked up a comprehens­ive 4-1 win at home to Newcastle Benfield, who had Mark Turnbull dismissed for dissent in the 57th minute.

Elsewhere, Adam Lennox netted after his initial penalty was saved and Gary

Brown scored an incredible own goal as Seaham Red Star won 2-1 against

West Auckland.

David Dowson also missed from the spot for Auckland with Jordan Blinco’s free-kick reducing the deficit in injury time.

West Allotment Celtic made it five wins on the bounce with a 2-1 win at

Redcar Athletic with Callum Larmouth and Matty Hayton on target after a goalless first-half.

HELLENIC LEAGUE

AN 87TH-MINUTE goal from Ross McErlain earned visitors Cribbs a 5-4 win at Malvern Town, with Steve Murray, Jack Fillingham and Lewis Hedges, with two, scoring their goals and Joe Bates, Matt Turner and Harry Clarke responding, the later with a brace, in front of a crowd of 294.

George Box and Jake Brown hit doubles and Ross Lye, Wil Ramsey and Charlie Walton a goal each as Bradford Town beat visitors Tuffley Rovers 7-1.

Longlevens AFC returned from

Chipping Sodbury Town 4-1 winners with Rudi McKinnon hitting two of their goals and Brad Martin and Ethan Dunbar one each.

Corsham Town won 5-1 at Shrivenham thanks to goals from Matt Jenkins, Matt Morris, Leon Greenland, Ryan Bath and Gary Higdon.

Jamie Addis scored for Lydney Town as they won 1-0 at Roman Glass St George and Brandon Benjamin and Harry Brock were on target for hosts Thornbury Town as they beat Brimscombe & Thrupp 2-0.

Goals from Josh Hunt, Jamie Bird and Cawley Cox earned Westfields a 3-1 victory after they came from behind to beat Royal Wootton Bassett Town 3-1 while Fairford Town went down 2-1 at Hereford Lads Club thanks to Jordan Burke and Adam Newbury goals. Elsewhere, Hallen forced a 3-3 draw at

Westbury United and in Division One,

Cheltenham Saracens won 3-1 at Abingdon United and FC Stratford won 2-1 at Bourton Rovers.

MIDLAND FOOTBALL LEAGUE

HANLEY TOWN opened up a 17 point lead at the top of the Premier by seeing off visitors Romulus 2-0, Aaron Cole and Louis Dodds with the second half goals.

Second-placed Lichfield City slipped further behind after they were held to a 1-1 draw at Wolves Casuals and it was the same outcome for Boldmere St Michaels who had to settle for a 2-2 draw at home to Lye Town.

Those two are joined on points by

AFC Wulfrunian­s who won their top of the table tussle with visitors Worcester City 3-1.

Ty Knight and Aaron Bishop handed the hosts a two-goal lead at the break only for City to hit back with an Ash Jackson own goal. Tom Poole’s 78th minute effort wrapped things up for the Castlecrof­t outfit.

There was plenty of late drama at

Stourport Swifts who drew 1-1 with

Stone Old Alleynians. It looked like finishing goalless only for Martin Slevin to fire the hosts into the lead in the fourth minute of added on time. The drama continued and two minutes later Jack Tomlinson earned Stone a point.

Shifnal Town were convincing 4-2 winners at home to lowly Haughmond while Bewdley Town’s match with Racing Club Warwick finished 0-0.

With Division One leaders Atherstone Town’s game postponed, Stapenhill had a chance to close the gap but they ended up losing 2-1 at home to Bilston Town Community for whom Jake Healey and Adam Garmson cancelled out a Harry Lansdowne strike.

NORTHERN COUNTIES EAST

GRIMSBY BOROUGH moved five points clear at the top with a convincing 5-1 win over Goole, while Brigg Town ran riot in Division One to score an astonishin­g 14 goals!

First half goals from Jordan Barnett and Lewis Collins had Grimsby in control, with Richie Burdett on target after that before Adam Drury’s late brace.

Garforth Town moved into third as they won 3-1 at Knarsborou­gh Town, Jed Zanos with a penalty for Garforth and although Knarsborou­gh levelled before the break, Lee Turner and Hass Gorji scored to seal the win.

At the bottom, Hemsworth Miners Welfare picked up only their third win of the season, 3-0 over Winterton Rangers, Nash Connolly scoring before goals from Sam Tingle and Seon Ripley.

Two late pens saw Maltby Main win 4-2 at Emley. Reagan Waud and Connor Cutts had put Maltby ahead, either side of Mick Fish’s reply and Alex Metcalfe looked to have earned a point but Williams scored twice from the spot.

Leon Howarth’s brace saw Handsworth win 2-1 at Penistone Church, whilst Ban Hinchcliff­e was also on target twice in Barton Town’s 3-1 triumph over

Staveley Miners Welfare.

Athersley Rec’s clash with Thackley was abandoned on 64 minutes with the visitors leading, along with Sherwood Colliery’s match at Silsden.

Brigg’s 14-1 win over Teversal saw Josh Batty score five and hat-tricks for both Dayle Hutson and Scott Phillips.

WESTERN LEAGUE

LIAM PRYNN’S brace maintained

Tavistock’s dominance at the top of the table with a 3-1 victory over Cadbury Heath.

After weathering early pressure from the visitors, the Lambs took the lead through Prynn’s deflected strike. Sub Dan Koita doubled Tavistock’s lead after the break with a sharp run and finish before Heath pulled a goal back. Prynn then eased the home side’s nerves by coolly converting Josh Parry’s pass.

The leaders remain 14 points clear of

Exmouth Town, who have three games in hand, after they leapfrogge­d Bitton into second with a 3-1 victory. Aaron Denny set Town on their way in the first half before Jordan Harris and Sam Cooper wrapped up the points and ended Bitton’s resistance.

Mousehole remain in the hunt with five games in hand over the leaders as they picked up another victory over

Brislingto­n. Jack Calver scored three minutes before the break to put the hosts in front and Callum Mconie sealed the win five minutes from time.

In the weekend’s only other league clash, an eight-goal thriller saw Keynsham Town eventually emerge 5-3 winners over visitors Ilfracombe Town.

Jamie Noble slotted Keynsham into an early lead but Ilfracombe responded with two quick goals. Dan Cottle restored parity before Jordan Metters gave the hosts a 3-2 half-time lead.

Ilfracombe clawed themselves level again but further goals from Cottle and Will Hailston made the points safe for the home side.

SOUTH WEST PENINSULA

OKEHAMPTON ARGYLE maintained top spot in Premier East following their 2-1 victory at third-placed

Ivybridge Town.

However, Torpoint Athletic are just seven points behind in second place with six games in hand following their 12-0 hammering of basement visitors Stoke Gabriel & Torbay Police, who’ve taken just three points from 24 games. Leading the rout with four goals each were Curtis Damerell and Ryan Richards, while Mike Lucas, John Heveran, Callum Thompson and Darren Hicks also scored.

Runaway Premier West leaders Falmouth Town reached the semi-finals of the Cornwall Senior Cup with a 4-0 away victory over 10-man Newquay, James Ward, Jack Bray-Evans, Toby Clark and substitute Jack Bowyer all on target.

Yesterday’s other quarter-finals saw Dobwalls beat visitors Millbrook 4-2 and hosts Wendron United see off

Sticker 2-1.
