GRIMSBY Borough extended their unbeaten run to 12 games with a good win at in-form Consett.

A tight first half was goalless, with Scott Fenwick having a shot cleared off the line for Consett, and home keeper Ross Coombe making a good save from Reece York.

Calvin Smith hit the post as Consett started the second half well, but the game changed in the 48th minute when Adam Mitchell saw red for a foul on Owen Davey.

Seven minutes later the visitors took the lead through top scorer Adam

LONG Eaton United bounced back from a rough defeat to hold second-placed Stockton Town to a draw at Grange Park.

Matty Tymon forced Long Eaton goalkeeper Sam Wilson into a reaction save from point-blank range midway through the second half, and moments later Wilson was called upon again to deny Kevin Hayes from close range.

Wilson’s heroics seemed to come to fruition, as Alex Marshall eventually opened the scoring in the 80th minute with a

Drury, and Tyler Edwards doubled their lead in the 70th minute.

Consett got one back with an Atkinson penalty with four minutes left after Fenwick was fouled, but a quick break in added time saw Kyle Radford fire in off the post to seal the points.
