CONSETT and Ossett shared the points for the second time this season in a close game between two patched-up teams.

The Steelmen, missing eight players, will consider it two points dropped after leading for an hour and having further chances.

They led from the 26th minute when ex-Hartlepool striker Scott Fenwick chested down an excellent pass from Daniel Smith and finished from 10 yards.

United dominated the opening half and took a deserved lead through Tom Cursons after 30 minutes. On the stroke of half-time, Walker doubled the advantage.

After the restart, Hebburn player-manager Daniel Moore inspired a comeback with a headed goal in the 71st minute.
