Wet, wet, wet and yet more to come
JULY has been one of the wettest on record as most Westcoasters can testify.
And there is mounting speculation that this could be the wettest July in Scotland since records began with just one day left in the month.
Perth has hit 225 per cent of its rainfall so far, while Aberdeen, Dundee and Inverness are way above where their average rainfall figures for the time of year.
The Scottish record rainfall came in 1940, with 186mm of precipitation.
