Slowcoach drivers fall foul of the law
POLICE in Argyll have warned drivers to keep up with the flow of traffic after a number of drivers have been cautioned for driving too slowly.
Sergeant Alan Moore from Oban police station said: ‘People driving too slowly can be almost as frustrating as cars travelling too quickly.
‘People need to be guided by the speed limits on roads and not to drive either over the limit or excessively under it.
‘ There are a number of cases where people can be fined for driving too slowly because of the problems this can cause for other drivers. It certainly can lead to frustration on the road.’
Anyone with concerns about driver behaviour should contact police on 101 and ask for the area office.
