Welcome return of food market

FOOD producers in north Skye are celebrating the successful relaunch of a Highland market on the island.

It is hoped the newly rebranded Glendale market will support the local economy.

Glendale trust received funding from the community food fund and Highlands and Islands Enterprise for the market. Speaking after the launch on July 21, Elgar Finlay, of the Glendale trust, said: ‘ We’re looking forward to the continued success of the Glendale Highland market.’
