Over £6,000 raised for cancer charity

A TEXAS scramble golf competition held at the weekend raised more than £6,000 for a children’s cancer charity.

The event at Fort William golf club on Sunday was in aid of STAR for Harris, set up in memory of Lochaber baby, Harris Ross, who died of a brain tumour at 15 months old in 2010.

The golf tournament, along with a raffle and auction raised £ 6,153.
