Airline vows to get better
AIRLINE Loganair has apologised for poor services in recent months.
The flight provider, which operates the majority of services to and from the Scottish islands, sent a statement to shadow transport minister and Highlands and Islands MSP David Stewart acknowledging that services had slipped in recent months and delays had become commonplace.
A ‘top to bottom’ review of operations is to take place to improve practises.
Welcoming the apology, Mr Stewart said: ‘Loganair has told me it appreciates the punctuality and reliability of services has not been good enough. The improvement programme is a ‘top to bottom’ review of its entire operation to achieve better punctuality and reliability for all Loganair passengers. I look forward to seeing improvement in the future.’
