Oban police are on the case in August
SINCE the beginning of August, Oban town centre has seen increased police activity, which the force says is normal for this time of year.
Community officer Jeremy Moore told a meeting of Oban community council on Monday night that there had been 13 crime reports.
These included disorder in the town, one Licensing Scotland Act case [where a drunk person did not leave a licensed premises when asked], six thefts, four vandalism cases, six road traffic offences and one case of wild life crime.
